AMMAN, JORDAN
The King Hussein Institute for Biotechnology & Cancer will be a State-of-the-Art medical institute in the Middle East / Jordan. The site is a small mountain, in Na'ur, Jordan 12 miles west of Amman Jordan, extremely challenging and difficult and yet dynamic, almost spiritual in its beauty.
Currently in construction at over a million square feet, this design is created to compress the building in zones around a central village square. The main goal is to provide dignified care and entry for patients. As an alternative to patients and visitors entering directly into a building lobby, the elliptical space will welcome them into an atrium plaza with trees, landscape, water and open sky.
