Lifetime Care provides inpatient hospice care and hospice residence care at this new free-standing facility on the Unity Hospital campus in Greece, NY. Designed and furnished like an elegant residence or hotel, this 11-bed facility embodies the hospice promise of comfort and dignity at the end of life using staff and volunteers experienced in care of the dying.
From your first step inside the front door, the Hildebrandt Center conveys the feeling of an upscale hotel or townhouse. The carpeted entrance hall leads directly to a water sculpture and fireplace. It does not look or feel like a medical office or traditional treatment setting.
The Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center replaces and enhances services provided in Lifetime Care's original Hospice Inpatient Unit, which opened in 1989 at the former St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, NY. At the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, visiting hours are unlimited and family members can spend the night on furniture designed for that purpose. Supervised children and pets are also welcome visitors.
